Crank is the slang work for a lower quality of crystal meth. Crank often comes in a powder form and can be snorted, smoked, injected or eaten. It is lower purity because it is made in trailer labs or off beat labs. It is extremely dangerous, not only because of its addictiveness but also because random kitchen items are often mixed in when making it to increase the volume.
Like Methamphetamines, Crank works on the central nervous system, increasing heart rate and alertness, causing the individual to experience long periods without sleep. Following the lack of sleep is an intense “crash” where the user can distribute extreme violence.
